Heliamphora heterodoxa x minor, a hybrid, is native to the table mountains of Venezuela. Its distinctive feature includes a standard bud at the apex of the plant, housing nectar glands that entice insects. Notably, the pitchers of Heliamphora are considerably tougher than those of Sarracenia. These plants thrive in bright light conditions, often resulting in a reddish hue. Unlike many other carnivorous plants, Heliamphora can tolerate slightly drier conditions. However, it’s essential not to subject them to constantly waterlogged environments.
