Sarracenia ‘Fon’ is an elegant and upright hybrid carnivorous plant, likely derived from Sarracenia flava × Sarracenia leucophylla, combining height, structure and refined colouration. This lineage gives the plant its tall, slender pitchers, attractive veining and strong architectural presence, making it a standout addition to any carnivorous plant display.

Reaching heights of approximately 50–70 cm, Sarracenia ‘Fon’ produces upright tubes in fresh green to yellow-green tones, often highlighted with fine red veining towards the upper pitcher and lid. Under bright conditions, colours become more pronounced, enhancing its visual appeal at retail level. The slightly flared lid adds both functional and ornamental value, helping to guide insects into the trap while protecting it from excess water.

As a passive carnivorous plant, it attracts insects with nectar and colour, offering customers an interactive and educational plant that is easy to understand and care for.

In spring, the plant produces tall flower stems with yellow-toned blooms, adding seasonal interest and increasing its retail value.
